You’ve seen them: negative posts online about moms doing questionable things. Maybe it was an article about a Mom who changed a diaper in the middle of a fancy restaurant. Or maybe a friend posted a snide comment about a Mom she saw at the park who nursed her 3 year old. Or, maybe you were the poster sharing what you thought was a funny sighting of a Mom doing something weird. Well, I think this has to stop. This type of negativity passed around by fellow moms just needs to end. We’re part of the problem perpetuating the Mommy Wars if we don’t.
Join me in taking this pledge to do your part to end the Mommy Wars once and for all.
“I pledge to stop posting negative stories or comments on Facebook, Twitter, my blogs, etc about my fellow Moms, no matter how much I disagree with their actions. I pledge to refrain from adding commentary online to those who do post about Moms negatively, or if I’m brave enough, call them out on it. I pledge to support my fellow Moms everywhere, first by being kind online. The Mommy Wars end with me.”
